The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining and the temperature is rising, this means one thing… canoe season is here!
Scenic River Canoe Excursions (located at 4595 Round Bottom Rd.) is re-opened with new owners and a new energy. It was actually purchased last June by Scott Wilson, Ryan Merkle and Billy Holmes (all 3 lifelong Anderson Residents). Since then they have got it in ship shape and she’s ready to sail, or paddle.
Scenic River Canoe Excursions offers you
3, 6 or 9 mile trips. Ryan likes the 9 mile the best, “it makes the most out of a beautiful day” but if your not ready for that you can work your way up with the 3 mile trip.
Conveniently Township Field and Tavern is across the street. So after a relaxing excursion you can stop in for an ice cold beverage and a burger, Tommy is the owner, but Karen is still the boss!
