Sundays are always a drag. First, there’s church (for some) then there’s the church dinner clique at Frisches or wherever (if you can afford it after pitching in on that obligatory plate passing). It drags on, drags you down and in the end just leaves you tired and poorer.
Sundays must drag everybody down as well because nearly every business is closed or so dead it should be. Bob over at Rhinos East is fighting hard to keep the Sunday blues from infecting his patrons though. So Bob booked a damn fine comedy show for his Sundays.

All March long Rhinos brings in the Ohio Comedy/Inside Joke Production Co. to showcase their talented comics. The show starts at 8pm and runs until about 10. It’s a two hour detour from the norm that makes Monday morning seem a little less painful and the weekend feel a little bit longer. We all need a little of that.
If you skipped the church folk dinner (or simply weren’t invited) the kitchens open and the menu is looking quite nice of late. The Big bagel burgers are stacked fat and the pizza is pretty too. All the appetizers have been replaced with scratch made items and portions have put on weight as well. The DJ is on hand to handle the lights and sound as well as put the bump on for the after show bootys.

The real deal is the main event. Comics from all over stop in and try their best to bust your gut (that’s easier than you think if you just ate a big fat bagel burger). It’s laid back, lazy, and full of laughs. Plus (unlike church), it’s free.
Two people could easily, get some grub, shoot 2 games of pool (or until the food comes out), order a drink or two and walk out not more than $20 lighter. Now that’s a Two for $20 if you know what I mean.
One things for sure, you can’t complain about the price. The other thing for sure is there is not much happening on a Sunday at all, let alone something lively. Go Bananas has it going on with their top comics and Annie’s is still doing a countdown to capacity but that’s a true anomaly. Now, Rhinos is not to be left out either. If Sunday Morning was comin’ down all day, stop by Rhinos for a Jack n Coke and a smile.
