Trivia Night

Putter's Tavern

If your looking for something different to do on a Wednesday, Putter’s Tavern might have your answer. Every Wednesday Putters puts on a live trivia competition. Contestants participate in a seven round, (ten questions per round) trivia showdown with several “handout” rounds.
The game gets underway at 8:30. Each team can have as many teammates as they can muster, so the more the merrier. The larger your group the better your odds are of winning. The trivia M.C. is none other than “Trivia Tom”, the host of all three Putter’s locations trivia contests. Trivia Tom adds his comedic commentary throughout the contest keeping the crowd chuckling during the tense moments when the answer to the question escapes even the most seasoned trivia whiz. There’s a lot of tense moments like these in each round for sure! This isn’t some “easy peasy” trivia game either my friend, this is tough stuff. The questions are extremely varied in subject, ranging from world history, sports, arts and entertainment, literature and much more. Getting a high score is no easy feat people!
The other two Putters locations (Mainville and West Chester) are enjoying the vicious competitions of some intelligent regular teams. The Milford Putters has just started their Trivia Night and already several teams have formed, including the Easyriders and Frogger, these two teams seem to be the teams to beat. Frogger has already stolen the winner crown many times and so far is the most winningest team of all. However, Frogger is going to have some stiff competition as the number of teams grow and the competitiveness heats up.
This is a family friendly night out as well, many families bring the kids and get them involved. It’s fun, it’s sort of educational and it beats the pizza and tv nights most people are enjoying on a Wednesday.
EV even participated in our first ever live trivia competition, we did OK but
Easyriders and Frogger were just too strong for our two person team. (Actually we drew a blank on about twenty questions). No matter, the fish and chips and a couple of Stella Artois kept our appetite in check and since the trivia is free the whole evening for two totaled to about $25. Not bad for a fun, entertaining way to get some good grub and feel even worse about your intellect!
