Party In The Park...ing Lot!
The popular game Guitar Hero is sweeping the nation. Putters has been setting up their own Guitar Hero show for a few weeks now. Sponsored by Game City, Putters has quite a unique approach to game play. You might find Guitar Hero at other bars but where else can you play outside (beside the smoking patio) with a several thousand dollar set-up in the back of a righteous Hummer?
EV showed up to film a short video of this “parking lot Guitar Hero party” and it not only had us entertained but the 28 traffic seemed to enjoy it as well. Plenty of passersby shouted out hoorahs as they drove by. It’s pretty hard to miss, the giant plasma lit up the night and the two players soon attracted a crowd of players. With warm weather on the way this thing could turn into a bona fide attraction! Sip your drink, smoke your fag and jam on the game.
Pretty soon Putters will have to assign servers to the parking lot. Now ain’t that fresh! I say crank it up and create a traffic jam on 28 (for a good reason for once). Check it out on Thursdays at 8 p.m., you can play inside or out.
