Patio Tokin’ At McNamara’s Pub

The new owners of the pub formerly known as Day Heights Pub barely had time to change the sign before the right to smoke was taken away. They concentrated on upgrading the food, staffing the pub with friendly people (a much needed improvement there) and getting a grip on what this Milford neighborhood pub crowd wants and needs.
One thing they all wanted (and needed) was a smoking area.
Even though that meant convincing the mean spirited Miami Township permit office to allow them to erect one. Against all odds they found a way to create an ample seating patio in front of the building. Funny how all the non-smokers are not around patronizing the bars they have helped to hurt so badly.
Oh well, now it’s no hassle for smokers to mingle around the bar and just step onto the patio for a nicotine fix without having a fit. The only ones who should be having a fit are the bar owners who have had their business ravaged like a Pekinese in the clutches of a Pit Bull by the right to smoke ban.
Smokers, McNamara’s feels your pain fortunately they have a whole bar stocked full of pain relievers. You choose the flavor.
