If you’ve been reading EV’s band interviews and CD release articles and you’ve been wishing it was you we were writing about, maybe it can be.
There are a lot of “closet” musicians out there who work steady jobs and play at home along with their favorite records (oops I mean CD’s... uhh well actually it’s more like mp3’s & mp4’s now).
Point is, it’s time to stop the loneliness! It’s time to brush up, pack it up and bust it out live on stage. Regardless of your level of expertise (well, within reason) you can bring in that six string and sing anything you please to a built in live audience.

Dan Varner is a first rate up & coming country artist. He’s played the Nashville big stages along side the big dogs, his CD “Four Vices” doesn’t have a “B” side song on it. It’s all original and all awesome radio hit ready tunes. Dan wasn’t always a highly sought after band. In fact Dan’s first ever live “performance” was on the karaoke mike at Lebo’s.
Dan’s came full circle and now he’s back at Lebo’s hosting an open jam with band mates Brad & Nick. The trio plays requests and faves and hands the stage over to anyone who wants to show off their talent all night long. It’s not just limited to guitar music either. Dan wants to feature any kind of talent in all shapes and forms, all instruments, originals or covers and even comedy. Get to Lebo’s on any Thursday by 8 p.m. sign up and give it your best shot. Guitar student Micheal Paulik sat in with the DVB trio on a couple songs and got a standing ovation, he has true potential that’s for certain. Great job kid, keep it up!
