Margarita has a sister

Latitudes little Margarita pizza ($7) is one of the all around best pizzas in town. It’s simple ingredients (tomato sauce, mozzarella and pesto) compliment but not overpower the exceptional thin hand made crust.
Now there is a sister pie just as worthy to buy. The Mediterranean pizza just came on the menu. Just like it’s sibling this pizza is simple. Kalamata olives, sun dried tomatoes, onions, feta and mozzarella with an olive oil base. It’s fresh and fragrant. At $8 bucks it can hardly be called expensive, but it can be called delicious.
We’ve always wondered why more of this excellent ethnic fare isn’t offered at Latitudes. After all the Khoury family owners are Mediterranean. Sure there is Cafe Mediterranean a few doors down. But they won’t even allow diners to order gyros at the table. “We don’t want diners eating with their fingers in the dining room... you can order one take out” said one owner. That’s flat out F’n stupid.
The Khoury boys need to pull out all family recipes (including falafel) and give Anderson some great Mediterranean food, including food you eat with your fingers. This pizza is a good start.
