Happy Birthday! Latitudes Cafe And Martini Bar

Latitudes (Anderson location) celebrated their one year anniversary with a world fusion extravaganza. Latitude’s chef and staff dug up the best recipes they could find and put together an international cuisine tasting featuring authentic dishes from Spain, Lebanon, France, Mexico and Italy.

The dishes were prepared with perfection and served buffet style throughout the restaurant. The international food, world fusion DJ and hand selected international wine made a great combination for this unique celebration. The Latitude’s staff also did a great job by keeping the quality high and the price reasonable. For $20 you could dine on your choice (or all) of the international dishes each paired with a perfect wine or beer (baby Coronas for the Mexican dishes).

It was fun, stimulating and ooh soo good food. All around it was an exciting and unique way of hosting an event like this. Then again Latitudes always goes above and beyond the norm.
The crowd certainly enjoyed the day. The patio was packed the tables were full and the bar was shoulder to shoulder... everyone talking about the flavors of the different dishes and wines. Everyone having a good time for sure.

The buffet stations were set up throughout the restaurant so patrons were even more encouraged to mingle and sample and sample and mingle some more. All that social interaction created a cool cosmopolitan ambiance that’s so rare here on the Eastside.

I wish they had a birthday bash like this every week because I’d be hooked with the food alone not to mention the free & easy buffet service and the music. Who knows maybe they’ll do it again soon. After all, they got quite a crowd and everybody loved the concept.
There are many fabulous world cuisines left to taste and if Latitudes is cookin’ it up I’m sampling them all baby!
