Puff Puff Pass
Everyone is plenty pissed about the smoking ban, it unfair, it’s unconstitutional and it’s just plain stupid. For those of you who voted pro-ban I say “Screw you Mr. Perfect, most of the bar crowd are smokers and now that you’ve done your damage we should hold you down and carve a little X on your forehead just for a laugh.”
Thankfully the nicer pubs are in full swing putting the patios together for a smoker’s safe haven. J&B’s is no exception. The bar is barely a month old but already the patio is in full swing. J&B’s has no intention of ignoring us puffers and set out to create a patio that they could be proud of.
The patio is open all year long (heated of course) and the view is perfect. You can still see the band from outside and I gotta tell you the band line-up for Oct. and Nov. is shaping up nicely. Bands like Right Turn Clyde, Devonna & the Demos, OMEB and even a Sidewinder duo are all on the books. J&B’s is putting the B back in bar. Like bad ass bands, big ole burgers, nearly frozen beers and back porch smokin’. That’s the way we do it on the Eastside at least that’s the way we should. Thanks J&B we love every bit of it! You have to try one of J&B’s specialty cheeseburgers. I’m not giving away the surprise but if you like to watch Diners, Drive Inns & Dives you’ll be familiar with the technique.
