Despite feeling the squeeze, the good folks at Garzellis (637 Ohio Pike Ave 947-9000) are still working hard to offer new menu items that set them apart. Just look at this monster. “The Big G” is the grinder with the girth. Pepperoni, salami, bacon, mushrooms, green pepper, onion, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, lettuce and tomato smother a hoagie patty between the crispy oven baked bun. Who else has a hoagie like that! Nobody. It’s already topping the list.
Here’s another cool twist. Pizza Pot Pie’s. Round mounds of stuffed pizza crust, choose from Ranch Chicken, Ranch Steak, Meat and Veggie. Unique, delicious and cheap. All four are $8 or less. Try One!
