Y’all know about Dan Varner. Y’all know he’s waiting in the wings for a big ole national tour. Well what you might not know is that Danny can pick em’ just as good as he can play em’.
When Danny saw Floor 13 he took it upon himself to promote them even if nobody else did. We are all glad he did because Floor 13 is going to take off as one of the most booked bands in the Eastside. They deliver the goods too.
If you see the name on the marquee, you best not drive by. Floor 13 will soon be the band your going to want to see when your in the mood to party hearty.
A little bit of WEBN, a little 94.9 and some 92.5 thrown in for good measure Floor 13 keeps the booties bumpin to the beats of solid rock & roll. You’ll hear barely month old monster hits one after another and just when you thought you had them figured out they’ll throw back to some Dylan or Stones cover.
Everyone involved in Floor 13 seems hell bent on creating the best performance they can muster at all times. It’s as if it was their last chance on some “American Band Idol” network TV show and the crowd reaps the rewards for all their efforts.
I think Dan Varner has a career in promoting aside from his own bands success. If I were a local pub who could snatch these boys up for a Friday night gig I’d jump on it.
Hint, hint advertisers... this is one of the bands you’ve been looking for. When you want to book some radio ready rock & roll for less than the price of a one spot radio ad, book Floor 13.
The bands no stranger to success. Bass player John Geoppinger jammed out in the popular band “The Spookfloaters” and the lead guitarist Nick Netherton rocked his way to local fame fanning the flames in the band Saving Ray.
I admit I was oblivious until now but thanks to Dan Varners publicizing I now realize what all the hype is about. These boys are solid.
For those about to rock... Floor 13 salutes you.
The next time you see the name on our “What’s Goin On” list on our home page, take it seriously. You just might get to have the kind of time you’ve been looking for. The band didn’t deny any requests the night we saw them so you know they came prepared to please the crowd. I’ll say one thing, think what you want but when it comes to modern rock & roll with an attitude Floor 13 is going to fill the bill.
Just look at it this way, have you ever heard of another popular band like Dan Varner trying hard to promote a little known band like Floor 13? Yeah well he is... and with good reason.
