Pollo On The Patio
For all you Mexican food lovers who need a little patio for your pollo (chicken) El Picante’s got it covered. Smoking ban or not patio dining is all the rage and most Mexican places don’t have patios for some reason. Loveland is chock full of bikers, canoers, hikers and the like so it only makes sense for a Loveland restaurant to offer outdoor seating.
Like it or not many people do still smoke, those people also happen to make up the MAJORITY of the restaurant & bar patrons as well. Thanks to the ban on our right to smoke many businesses have felt the squeeze and patios are becoming necessary to survive. Due to ridiculous county regulations many businesses are stuck with some little crap ass parking space patio to serve the purpose.
El Picante is not among those. They have been able to build a really nice patio that seats almost as many patrons as the indoor dining room. El Picante still believes in your right to enjoy a Marlboro with your Margarita and if the non-smokers want to enjoy the sunshine too they’ll just have to sit in the smoking section.
