I, myself am a very nice soft hearted person, but I have my days just like anyone else has. Anyone could be guilty of anything once someone loses their temper from time to time....SO Mr. No Way, no one "operates that way" 100% of the time. I have been told to be kind to people that can be mean because they are probably going through something themselves. We ALL have our plates full from time to time and do things we don't mean to do. No one is perfect. I have been reading all this and I think it is all a misunderstanding of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. I wish Paxton and EV could come to an understanding and make peace. Someone needs to be the bigger person. Mr No Way...If you know this man, ask him to explain to EV his side of the story, (Its between those two) If I was innocent of something I would want to tell my side, wouldn't you?

What have we said on record about paxtons? it's here for all to see and has been since 06. we've been delivering there since day 1 (to smiling faces) as well. we've even ran advertisements (paid in full on time) for paxtons. we love the fish. we remember when there wasn't even a patio. we've always had a soft spot for the little loveland pub. Look at our reviews (click on paxtons). plus, we've been providing them with this web page for the past 2+ years for free... now we're the bad guy.
why the diss? we all want to know... they all want to know. Why the 180?

There is no way that manager pushed him out the door! I know the man and he does not operate that way.

I just want to know WHY the manager/owner pushed the guy out the door in the first place. There was no call for that. Seems like they started this mess. I thought EV was one of their supports, so WHY do this to EV? Let's get to the bottom of this instead of slinging mud. You know what they say about opinions, lets get some facts now.

High horse? Isn't that what you as well are on? I don't agree with either statements. Frankly you all sound immature and vindictive. Isn't there real news to print I mean really come on whats the point in this? I'm thinking Family friendly is probally dead on in his statements. And as far as freedom of speech sure thats true but why did you even bother because the way I read it it was kinda slander and liable, as a journalist I would think you would be aware of the legalities of what you print. You made your bed you might have to lie in it. And just as you state it gives more publicity to EV well what do you think your article did? All publicity is good publicity. So all I have to say is all of you grow up! Get a life you do your thing and Paxton's will continue to do their thing.

I totally agree with family friendly. I do visit Paxton's about once a month and they are the friendliest place i frequent! Did you even research the slander you say? I'm sure they had good reasons and I support them in their decisions but at least now I know what trash not to read! Knowing Paxton's this won't phase them at all. They have very loyal customers however if I ran that place I would pursue sueing you guys for liable and slander! They are very community involved and my family and friends respect them totally and love going there. I hope that you get what you deserve for making these false statements! If you cared about small mom and pop places like you state then why would you dream of saying the trash you said on what we consider one of Lovelands most respectable and family businesses in the Loveland community! How dare you assume Paxtons Grill does not have their clientile's best interest in mind! I am a regular there and love the place and everyone who works there is great people even the managers. They always care about the family friendly atmosphere they provide. As a family man I am glad to have a place where my family can eat and we as parents know we will get great service and great food in a place that cares about families. I have read your magazine for a while and I believe it talks more about bars and not family restaurants! They are a family restaurant with a bar much more emphasis on the family restaurant! I would not want my children to grab one of your magazines while we are eating and see and read the things you write. It's great for adults yet not appropiate for children So KUDOS to Paxton's Grill for keeping the emphasis on family! And to all you who state you won't go in there now it's your loss. They have great everything! My family goes there at least once a week and will continue! And as far as them not supporting local businesses you obviously don't know anything about them as they do lots of sponsorships and donations to local schools and charities. They just had a benefit to raise money for the Loveland Stage Company to help rebuild the theater, and to top it off look at the huge support in their annual golf outing which raises money for cancerfree kids so where do you get off saying those things! WAY TO GO PAXTONS!!!!!!

I am stunned that someone would treat you 2 like that. As a small business owner, you two have been nothing but supportive and genuinely helpful in these troubled times. It is their loss!! And since I have not as yet been up there to check them out, I now won't waste my time.

wow, I see ev everywhere in loveland. i bet paxtons is now the only bar that don't have it. I'm a moose and even we have it, same with cindys and zappz. I can't imagine why paxtons don't like it. it's all about what happening around our town vs. the city like the cin or city beat. man, if your that anti-competitor you must be struggling bad. it's still a [beep] move either way you look at it. don't sweat it ev, loveland still loves you.

It is awful to see hard times and suffering for everyone, but it is a time to pull together, not fight for business.
I have never been in Paxton Grill, but by the comments from previous customers on their site on EV, it makes me have no desire to even try it. I checked my notes because I inquired for a music job there and they told me " We cant afford it". No matter how much I lowered the cost ( for their benefit to build business) they shut me down. I am sorry for all who is getting hit hard by these hard times, but when it is over, people WILL remember! I take my hat off to EV for trying to help everyone promote (FREE) business to everyone involved and give better idea's and choices to the public! I wouldn't be too concerned EV, it doesn't sound as if too many people go in there to even pick up a paper, but their rudeness was uncalled for!
