To Eastsider's It's Magic, To Dom It’s Just Jersey

The homemade soups are bliss in a bowl.
The eggplant Parmesan is perfect and the Dom & Linda Platter is portioned for four.
It’s Jersey, it’s Italian, it’s DeMeo’s.
Dominic (Dom) DeMeo grew up in Maplewood New Jersey. He never knew of a three-way, a slider, or goetta and the only coney he had ever heard of was Coney Island. He did however feast on the flavors of Italy his family passed down from generation to generation. I’m damn glad he did.
Leaving Jersey for the mean streets of Milford Dom said goodbye to his home town restaurant kitchen and hello to the downtown Milford one he now calls home.
DeMeo’s is now the Eastside’s little slice of little Italy. Dom starts the day off with a huge stock pot, secret herbs and spices, a bushel of ripe tomatoes and a 100 years of family experience. Hours later the lunch crowd comes in and starts to understand.
It doesn’t matter if Dom ladles his marvelous marinara over your meatballs or your mussels, right on your rigatoni or on the side of your sausage & peppers. Make no mistake it’s magic marinara for sure. I say “Bring on the throwdown Bobby Flay” Dom’s gonna make you call him Godfather.
