Eastside Vibe review

The man brings us down everyday. Five days of that oppression in a row is almost intolerable.
I think Brooks and Dunn may have said it best... “ Old boy pullin’ like a dog on a collar, keepin’ that chain pulled tight, waiting on Saturday night” and ain’t that right.
If you’ve been yanking your chain (or it’s been yanking you) “put on the smell good, put on Skynrd, roll in the bar like a Nascar winner” and dig deep into some Dallas.
Dallas Moore, that is.
Dallas Moore is lead singer and rhythm guitar player of the self titled “Dallas Moore Band” Make no mistake about it... Dallas Moore is a savage ass kickin’ Southern rock band... and I just love it.

Greasy, gritty, bold and tattooed... and that’s just the guitars. The band is a black leather clad band of die hard Dixie fans and if you don’t like it... screw you and the Honda you rolled in on. A Southern man don’t need you around anyhow! (yeah Neil). If you do like it, good for you. If you don’t... like I said, keep it to yourself, you’d be ill advised to start yappin’ yankee around this crowd. Crowd? Yeah there’s definitely a crowd wherever these ‘ole boys set up.

A crowd, a parking lot full of Harleys & trucks, a gaggle of girls getting all hot and bothered and a few rebel yells for good measure. Around these parts we call that a party.
Speaking of “these parts” Dallas Moore is playing for the first time ever at Uncle Sams on the 1st. Following that they’ll be at K.C.s Pub (Thurs. Mar. 13th & Sat. Mar. 29th) That doesn’t give us much time to spread the word but if your reading this on the 1st, wash your nice Harley-tee, shine your best boots and get a seat by the stage. We’ll be there, that’s for sure. However, we’re bringing a video camera and ya’ll will get to see what you missed out on when it hits our web site. Take my word for it, don’t settle for watching the video, when you can get in the video. I realize the weather is too cold for 99% of you hog straddlers to fire up the Fat Boy but that’s no excuse. You don’t need to “ride to live” to enjoy the stellar Southern sounds of the band.

All you need is a yearning for a few rebel yell relaxation techniques and a Southern Belle to dance with. You can bring your own belle or the band can provide one for you... actually they don’t provide them but they do attract them, so you know where they’ll be, the rest is up to you.
This band’s not just another classic cover band either. Your likely to hear more originals than covers, soon your even likely to hear other bands cover Dallas Moore (who pays ASCAP for that?) Oh well, what the hell.

You can buy all the Dallas Moore songs online for only a buck. Just go to their web site at www.dallasmoore.com they have a huge list of songs. Or you can wait for the live performance video on our site. Either way (or both ways) you’ll still not understand the band until your standing in front of them, so go to the show and let your freak flag fly.
