In the spring of 2008, a group of talented musicians came together to form a new, exciting, high-energy group called DV8. These individuals had been giving their solid and fun performances in other local bands for years, but decided that the Greater Cincinnati area needed something fresh and edgier that would appeal to a diverse audience. DV8 plays the best cover songs spanning over three decades. These are the songs that get the party going and keep people on the dance floor and singing along all night long. It’s the right mix of songs combined with tightly executed performances that gives DV8 crowd-drawing success. The unbelievable musicianship and vocal talent allows DV8 to perform the music from some of the greatest bands of all time. DV8 is not just another “cover band!” Of course, the professional sound system and light show are the icing on the cake. DV8 performs at the hottest local nightspots, festivals, private parties, corporate events, and area concert venues. In the past year, DV8 has opened for national acts like The Gin Blossoms and Styx. With powerful male and female vocals, DV8 is the perfect band for entertaining large crowds.
