By Golly’s Underground Opens With A Bang!

The new By Golly’s basement club The Underground opened with a bang on Saturday Sept. 26th.
Everyone was excited and it was standing room only by 9:00. The beer was flowing and much of that beer was Miller High Life. Why? Because not only were the super hot Miller Beer Girls there but they brought Miller Mascot “Wendell” with them!
The big man was there to make the opening special by signing autographs and posing for photos. The Miller Gals passed out beer by the buckets and it couldn’t have went off better. At one point one of Wendell’s commercials came on the huge projection TV and the crowd roared. If you missed it you’ll just have to drool over the photos. Go see it for yourself, it’s a cool club!

Eat’n Cheap (and drink’n free)

Everyone loves a good combo meal. At least it certainly looks that way from the drive thru menu view. Here’s our take on the value meal craze, why buy a “Grade D” double cheese Bag O’Crap when you can get the real deal? You wouldn’t. It’s not easy to find a decent meal deal (at the same prices as the fast food joints) alternative to the drive thru though.
Enter By Golly’s.

By Golly’s is an old Milford pub with a new life and new menu. One might not initially think “By Golly’s” when lunch hour hits and the hunger pains are setting in. One might not expect By Golly’s has meal deals for the same price as Mc D’s or Rally’s either. Fact is they do though.
Better food, same prices and a beer to boot.
A beer to boot? You bet.

Every weekday from 11-3 By Golly’s kitchen is bustling with orders, hungry lunch diners who skipped the fast food in favor of the good food, sip their free beverages while they briefly wait for their order. Some sip sweet tea, others a Coke product. Some opt for the frosty Miller High Life draft. Either way they all drink free.
Isn’t that a kicker!

Ready for lunch yet? How about a big ole Bacon Ranch Chicken Hoagie (top left) or a hearty 2 Piece Fried Chicken Meal (above) served up crisp with green beans & mashed potatoes? Or maybe a pretty Pork Tenderloin (top right) is just what you were craving.
Those are just a few of By Golly’s Blue Plate Specials you can get for just 6 bucks, including your drink (Coke products, Tea or Miller High Life).

Every day at lunch time there is a $6 meal deal. The main menu offers Cheeseburgers (Monday), Steak Hoagies (Tuesday), Grilled Chicken (Wednesday), Meatball Hoagies (Thursday) and Beer Battered Cod (Friday). It’s “All that & a bag of chips” plus a drink!
There is also the By Golly’s Big Bowl O’ Soup & Salad, 10 piece Buffalo Wings and Lunch Entree Salads, everyday, again just $6. Drink included.
The Blue Plate Specials change daily and all are hearty meals worth every penny of $10 anywhere else.

So listen up and remember well, lunch time doesn’t have to be bagged burger bullsh#t. Take time to stop by By Golly’s. Feed on something better than the fast food fester, wash it down with a cold beverage in a glass. Bring a co-worker and relax for a minute. If you can bring the boss that’s even better, maybe he (or she) will agree to everyone partaking of a cold beer, (insist it’s good for company morale) after all it’s included. The Underground

It’s been a long time coming but this month we will see the grand opening of the area’s newest club The Underground. By Golly’s has been serving food and drinks quite smoothly since their rebuilding and that rebuilding included plans for the basement bar ever since the initial drawings. It took some time to get it completely finished and in mid September you’ll get your chance to party proper in this unique underground club.
Once you’ve made your way down to The Underground you’ll see that the entire wall space from top to bottom is covered in cool wall to wall art work by Todd Kirkland. There are dart boards, pool tables, live entertainment and many more surprises in store. Even Miller’s “Wendell” will be there on the 26th! It’s a party worth marking on the calender.
