Until now Bocca Billiards (749 St Rt 28) has been a nice clean sleepy Milford pool hall. Now it’s a nice clean busy Milford pool hall. Why the 180? Simple, a new owner who wields a magic wand.
The owner that made House of Billiards such a success is applying his magic formula to the newest addition in his pool hall portfolio. Jim Fernella “The Pool Table Fella” has mastered the nearly impossible... owning and operating a successful, popular pool room in the noxious non smoking climate of Ohio. Amen to that.
Back in our December ‘08 Best Of Issue, House of Billiards won “Best Pool Hall”. In the article we mentioned that 8 out of 11 pool halls had disappeared never to return due to the smoking ban. That left only 3. Now two of the three are both Jim’s. Amen again.
Jim is pulling out all the stops to make Bocca Billiards the Eastside’s premier pool room. Patrons will see an all new updated look, new foosball & darts tournaments and live Golden Tee with a 62” monitor! The kitchen will be in full swing to keep up with the crowd’s appetites. The frosty drink specials will be served by the same quality of lovely ladies you’ve come to expect to see at the House of Billiards. If you live in Landen, Montgomery, Loveland, Indian Hill or anywhere in-between your just a hop & a skip away from the Tri-state’s “new oldest pool hall”. Everyone (ages 15 and up) is welcome 2-2am.
