CC Deville Hits Milford
Bad Habitz has been booking the best bands they can find and their doing a fine job at it. The owner Dave Voltz knows what it takes to get the crowds, after all he’s no stranger to the bar biz. He already owned the popular Double D’s before he ever bought Bad Habitz. Dave’s recipe for success is a mixture of great food, great staff and the best in entertainment. You may have seen some of the previous EV articles about Bad Habitz like the band Sidewinder who graced our cover in May. Bad Habitz also came in first and third in our hoagie contest, the list goes on and on. All that press was well deserved and Bad Habitz just keeps getting better.
October is a great month to get to Bad Habitz. Starting off the first weekend is Bar Fly (5th) and NexTime (6th), anyone who has seen local favorite NexTime knows it’ll be a great time. The following weekend is the Eastside maniacs Livid (12th). Livid must shoot up with a mixture of speed, crack and super crack to get all the energy they expel during the show. These guys are out right crazy. The next weekend you have The Kevin Fox band (20th). I’ve yet to see them but I know for a fact Dave wouldn’t book them if they weren’t awesome. As if that wasn’t enough the last weekend Bad Habitz has CC Deville (26th) and 513 (27th).
Well I know 513 rocks and CC Deville... well he was lead guitar in a little band called Poison so I think he knows how to put on a show. Factor in the Monday Night Football with $2 drafts & prizes, free pool & juke box on Wednesdays and free wings & DJ King on Thursdays and you begin to see Dave’s recipe in action. If dance is your deal catch DJ King’s show on the 19th, 13th and all Thursdays.
