The DVB is on a roll. Fans of The Dan Varner Band see the crowds getting bigger and bigger with each passing month. These CMA recording artists are getting booked in Nashville steadily and have played some serious events there.
One recent event had the band playing an acoustic show opening for Randy Houser at Fourth Street Live in Louisville. 13,000 stood in applause at the six string stylings the band had to offer. Cincy DVB fans can often catch the band playing around town with their Dan, Brad & Nick acoustic trio. It’s as cool as the full show and every bit as divine.
Did you know the DVB has another acoustic take off as well? Brad and Nick join forces every Tuesday at Rivertown Bar & Grill from 7:30 until the crowd quits calling out for more.
For those who don’t know, Brad Kelly is lead guitarist in The Dan Varner Band, backs up vocals and sings lead in many songs. Nick Netherton plays violin, mandolin, guitar and vocals as well. The Nick & Brad show is a bit different than a DVB show, you’ll hear new & classic rock with a few surprises to boot. All are invited and the stage is open to all musicians. Consider it an open mic if you will. There are $1 Margaritas and plenty of smoking section seating. Not to mention a bad ass view.
