The Bar That's Built To Last

Annies on Kellogg is a true testament to longevity in the fickle bar business. They don’t sell food, they have no specials, they couldn’t care less about football, they have cover charges as high as $25 and they are closed most of the week.
Still with all that said they remain the undisputed “King of Crowds” to this day. On any given Sunday while other bars are busy frying up appetizers for the NFL ticket Annies is busy stocking the Cristal cooler. They’re getting ready for the weekly Sunday crowd that can shut down Kellogg Ave. I’m talking about 2000 people plus! Every single Sunday folks.
Throughout the month Annies put’s on live concerts from awesome national and regional acts alike. They either offer the best in entertainment or they’re closed. There is no mediocrity whatsoever in the months event schedule. It’s all or nothing.
All of that all adds up to a lot more than the nothing. I bet Annies sees more business on one Sunday than any club on the Eastside sees in a week. It goes to show 25+ years of experience really does matter in this business.
Annies philosophy is simple... give the youth the entertainment they want. Annies has the youth crowd and that’s what keeps them young and fresh. As long as there are still 20 years olds looking for a good time they can relate to Annies. will be there to head the call. That’s a long time.
